Social innovation process in context of labor transformation. Case study of the business and employment cooperatives

Résumé

This paper analyzes the evolution of a social innovation process addressing labor transformation in France. This longitudinal case study highlights the multiple mechanisms in play from the inception of the social innovation to its diffusion and institutionalization. The study contributes to research on social innovation, which currently lacks longitudinal empirical studies, and to new institutional theory.
