Quantitative analysis of a textual corpus in Human Sciences: The case of the Alceste french software
Résumé
This contribution aims to expose and question the use of Alceste, a textual statistical analysis software, based on an ongoing research in Human Sciences. After a presentation of the software, its objectives and the linguistic researches that it is based on, we explore the way that this quantitative data processing tool proposes a qualitative analysis of a textual corpus. We conclude with a feedback on its methodological aspects, based on the analysis of a corpus of seven semi-structured interviews.
