Towards Next Generation Human-Computer Interaction – Brain-computer interfaces: Applications and Challenges
Résumé
Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) are systems that record
brain signals and transfer them into commands to build a
direct communication pathway between a human brain and
a computer. Decades of development make BCIs become
a promising tool for next generation human-computer interaction
(HCI). This paper briefly discusses several promising
non-medical applications of BCIs in the HCI field and some
key challenges for their widespread adoption.
