Résumé

This paper addresses the dependability modelling and evaluation of two safety-related applications that are based on communications between vehicles and between vehicles and fixed infrastructures: automated highway systems and virtual black boxes. The main objective is to develop model-based evaluation approaches to analyze and quantify the dependability of such applications. Modelling is based on Stochastic Activity Networks. The results show the significant impact of some mobility parameters on application availability and safety.
