Auto-interference analysis in cellular systems
Résumé
In the context of power control in cellular radio systems, we study the effect of auto-interference. This aspect has been neglected in most of the papers related to this subject. Using a basic model, the effect of this interference on power control is analytically studied. We give proof that, in the presence of auto-interference, the maximum achievable balanced carrier-to-interference ratio (CIR) is lower than in the case of its absence. Known power control methods are applied in this hypothesis. Simulation shows that auto-interference, even if it is relatively small, leads to too optimistic results.
