Résumé

This paper combines per ceptual filtering to r ecent r esults in statistical decision and estimation theory in order to denoise speech signals corrupted by additi v e and independent white Gaussian noise. The r esulting technique r equir es no V oice Acti vity Detector and its perf ormance is significantly close to that obtained when the noise standard de viation is kno wn and the masking thr eshold computed on the basis of the clean speech signals.
