Peinture murale d’une tombe à inhumation de la nécropole romaine de Cumes (Italie)
Résumé
The recent archaeological excavations performed by the Center Jean Bérard team (USR 3133 CNRS-EFR) in
the Roman monumental necropolis of Cuma (Southern Italy), brought to light, along an important road connecting the city of Cuma to Capua, a burial chamber of the 2nd century AD. Inside this tomb, there is an
original model of a pit grave covered by fresco decorations, with stylized motives representing flowers, plants
and birds.
