Abstract
This article is meant for people who wish to collect oral testimonies by audio or audiovisual recording, or to use them in a hereditary, cultural, educational or a scientific context. It presents the judicial regulations that apply to these testimonies in order to establish a good cooperation between the interviewer and the interviewee, to stabilize and secure the use of archived oral testimonies, and to make their transmission to future generations as well as their use in social scientific research possible
