FAST NUMERICAL-METHODS FOR LINE-SHAPE STUDIES IN HOT AND DENSE-PLASMAS
Résumé
For hot and dense plasma studies both fundamental or diagnosis oriented, one needs to solve concurrently several problems coming from different fields. Our contribution to such studies has been to develop a fast computer code capable of providing spectral profiles for the radiation emitted by multiply charged ions imbedded in hot and dense non-equilibrium plasmas. The results of this numerical method have been carefully compared to those generated by a simulation code based on a molecular dynamic simulation of the stochastic microfield. This paper provides information about some new aspects of the line mixing model used to account for the ion dynamic effect in a very fast way.
