Hybrid fuzzy-probabilistic approach to supply chain resilience assessment
Résumé
In this paper, we extend the existing models of supply chain resilience assessment by incorporating the ripple effect and structure reconfiguration. The research is based on a hybrid fuzzy-probabilistic approach. We apply the genome method with the objective to include the structural properties of the supply chain design into resilience assessment. We develop a supply chain design resilience index, demonstrate its computation and application. The results suggest a method to compare different supply chain designs regarding the resilience with both disruption propagation and recovery consideration. It also allows identifying groups of critical suppliers whose failure interrupt the supply chain operation.
