Sériation de la nécropole wisigothique de Duratón (Ségovie, Espagne)

With the help of the « Analyse des correspondances », the objective of this article is to give evidence of a serial effect in the wisigothic Necropolis of Duratón (Segovia-Spain), one of the most important locations where relics of this period were discovered. After a presentation of the method and a description of the Necropolis, the whole batch of the 162 pieces is analysed through 60 criteria. A first review shows that the positionning of the points looks like a parabola, which is the caracteristic of a chronological evolution of individuals and variables. The author proposes then a chronology concerning the furniture, with a chronological continum, where individuals follow each other within the inclusion of new objects and the exclusion of the oldest ones. However the nature of the sample did not allow to position definitely the chronology.
En s'appuyant sur l'analyse des correspondances, cet article cherche à mettre en évidence un phénomène sériel dans la nécropole wisigothique de Duratón (Ségovie, Espagne), l'un des plus importants ensembles de vestiges matériels de cette méthode. Après avoir présenté la méthode et la nécropole, l'ensemble des 162 objets étudiés sont décrits au moyen d'une grille de 60 critères. Une première étape montre que le nuage de points obtenu a une forme parabolique, caractéristique d'une évolution chronologique des individus et des variables. L'auteur propose ensuite une chronologie relative du mobilier, avec un continuum chronologique où les individus se succèdent dans le temps par l'incorporation de nouveaux objets et l'abandon des plus anciens. La nature de l'échantillon n'a cependant pas permis de donner des calages de chronologie absolue.
