Stochastic collection-disassembly problem with sample average approximation
Résumé
The implementation of the circular economy is increasingly supported by many governments. It is performed by integrating the activities of reverse supply chain (RSC) into those of forward supply chain. Commonly, enterprises collaborate with third-party reverse logistic provides (3PRLPs) to manage the activities of RSC. Such collaboration motivates this present work to propose better decisions for 3PRLPs under the fact that integrating decisions of the collection of End-of-Life (EOL) products and their disassembly allows proposing a RSC with better performance. In this current work, an integrated problem considering the decisions of the collection of EOL products and their disassembly is formalized. Since RSC often deals with uncertainty, the uncertainty of the quantity and quality of EOL products as well as the demands of the associated components is taken into consideration. To provide good solutions under short CPU time, Sample Average Approximation combined with Two-Phase Iterative Heuristic is developed.
