Résumé

We propose an approach for probing the near-subsurface based on the use of a multistatic configuration. As in this reflexion configuration, few pieces of information on the target are accessible, it is of great importance to define properly the antenna positions allowing to measure as much as possible all available information. To that end, in this paper, we present a study of the optimization of the geometrical configuration specifically meant at imaging shallowly buried targets. Images of the subsurface reconstructed from experimental fields are shown to assess the well-behavior of the proposed methodology.
