Formal Verification of Embedded Distributed Systems in a Prototyping Approach
Résumé
This paper presents an evolutionary prototyping methodology dedicated to the design, verification and implementation of embedded systems. This methodology relies on L f P : a formalism combining UML-like structuring capabilities and a precise semantic suitable for both code generation and formal verification based on colored Petri nets. We apply this methodology on a small example and show how it enables system designers to detect non-trivial problems on the system.
