Nuclear relaxation in layered S/N structures

Résumé

The nuclear relaxation rate is calculated in a model of HTSC in which superconducting (S) and normal (N) layers (e.g. CuO planes and CuO chains in YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O$_7$) alternate assuming that s-wave pairing is present only in the S layers. Our model predicts the absence of the peak in the nuclear relaxation rate near $T_c$.
