A finite element modelling tool of a buried system for glass furnace wall characterization

Résumé

This study deals with the wall characterization of a glass furnace based on an electrical resistance measurement between two buried electrodes. In this aim, the relationship between the wall geometry and the electrical resistance is established. This paper presents the modelling aspects of this inspection technique.
