Résumé

In the present abstract, we present the impact of heavy ions such as 92Mo and 136 Xe on P-doped and pure-silica core optical fibers. The densification of the irradiated samples was studied by monitoring the increase of the D2 Raman band evidencing similar tendency in the two employed materials.
