Résumé

In this paper, a numerical tool to evaluate the quality of a meso-structure is presented. This tool is then modified to produce a local measurement of the element density in a matrix (local clustering). Finally, from this local quantity, a method is proposed to predict the crack nucleation and propagation in concrete-like material under tension loading. The predictions that can be obtained with this method are compared to results from numerical simulations of dynamic traction using cohesive elements in Akantu Finite Element code on various meso-structures
