Method for modifying a working electrode for a sensor detecting a metal dissolved in trace amounts in a liquid, electrode, sensor and use of same.
Résumé
The invention concerns a method for modifying a working electrode for a sensor capable of detecting at least one metal element dissolved in trace amts. in a liq., such an electrode, for example a screen-printed electrode, obtained by said method, a sensor incorporating same and the use thereof for detecting and optionally quantifying said at least one metal element in liqs. This method for modifying a surface (4) made from carbonaceous material of a working electrode (2) for such a sensor (1) comprises a step a) of depositing, on the surface, a polymer film (5) made from a poly(catechol) by electro-polymn. of pyrocatechol in a first medium having a pH of between 6 and 8, and said method is such that it subsequently comprises a step b) of conditioning the working electrode, comprising a series of redn.-oxidn. cycles in a second medium having a pH equal to or greater than 10, such that the modified working electrode is electroactive in an electroactivity range, measured by cyclic voltammetry, ranging from -1 V to +1 V, being able to detect copper and/or lead as said at least one metal element.
