An approach to manage collaborative design based on ontology and adaptive user interfaces
Résumé
In collaborative applications, tasks are distributed among actors. Such actors col-laborate with each other to accomplish their objectives. In this paper, we present an architecture where collaborative design is synchronously and generically achieved. Models of each point of views are transformed into ontology instances and merged together in order to accomplish the final product design. Secondly, we present an interface for a collaborative environment that generates customized interfaces according to the user role and adaptive one according to the context of use. An experimental prototype demonstrates the validity of this architecture.
