Research trends in Green Propulsion: A Scientometric Perspective

Abstract

Spacecraft research is a crucial research area in modern Science and Technology and “Green Propulsion” has its importance as a sub domain which directs the Spacecraft Propulsion field to a non-hazardous state and tries to keep the environment clean. Bibliometric techniques have been employed to analyse the characteristics of the research output in Green Propulsion. The required data were collected from Web of Science from 2000 to 2014 (15 years). This study investigates the growth pattern and also the, year-wise, institution-wise and, country-wise distribution of articles.
