Résumé

A model for calculating the spatial distribution of light, including polarization effects from multilayered inhomogeneous media with index of refraction mismatch between layers, is presented with the aim of early detection of cancer. Theoretical calculations are compared with experiments on organic matter using a spectro-scatterometer. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
