Matching Objects to User's Queries in Web of Things' Applications

Résumé

The Web of Things (WOT) is a recent paradigm allowing machines to be connected through the Web. In this vision, daily objects that were initially separated into closed systems can now be technically interlinked through novel applications dedicated to users. However, the usefulness of such applications depends on the ability to process knowledge conveyed by these objects in order to meet users' expectations. In this paper, we address this point by proposing a representation model for WOT as well as a process to dynamically select a set of objects based on user's requests.
