Representation and Interchange of Sound Spatialization Data for Compositional Applications
Résumé
We present recent works on the representation of spatial-ization data for the authoring, interchange and rendering of spatial audio in musical contexts. These works are mainly implemented in the OpenMusic computer-aided composition environment. High-level structures created in compositional processes are represented by matrices, stored using a standardized interchange format and finally read and interpreted by external tools for offline and real-time rendering.
