Designing a mathematics teaching: digital resources and evolutions of teachers’ work.
Résumé
The proliferation of available resources for mathematics teachers, resulting in particular from digital resources deeply modifies teachers’ work, in and out-of-class, in many countries. How do mathematics teachers choose their resources in this new context, how do they modify them, share them? What is the content and structure of their documentation systems (Gueudet & Trouche 2009)?
While the textbook remains a central resource, e-textbooks of different forms are developed, modifying the relation between teachers, students and textbooks. The digital means also open new possibilities for teachers’ collective work (Gueudet, Pepin & Trouche 2013).
We will discuss these issues by drawing on several research projects at secondary school in France.
