Design of a resonant wireless power transmission system using printed inductors

This paper presents the conception and the analysis of a new, simple, compact and low coast resonant system for wireless power transmission. The system design is performed considering a new geometry of copper coils printed on FR4 and FR2 substrates in order to obtain good efficiency values in the energy transfer process. The coils inductance is determined using a proposed approach on Maxwell’s method. Measured values are presented to show the proposed approach accuracy and system functionality and efficiency.
