Evaluation of the Acoustic Radiation Efficiency with the Aeroelastic Modes of a Plane Plate
Résumé
The work is focused on the estimation of the acoustic radiation efficiency due to a plane plate wetted by a subsonic flow. The structural response is computed with the finite element approach by including also the aeroelastic effect. The variations in the due radiated power are taken into account as function of the Mach number. The procedure requires the computation of the complex aeroelastic modes of the plane radiator and a post-processing of these data.
