A data-driven approach to real-time controller reconfiguration for fault tolerance

Résumé

In this paper, we formulate the fault-tolerant control(FTC) problem in the behavioral system theoretic framework. Tosolve this problem, two methodologies are presented, which restunder the broad classification of FTC systems, namely projectionbasedapproach and online redesign approach. The novelty withinthese approaches lies in the fact that any a priori informationabout the plant is not available in real-time. In addition, no onlineidentification or estimation of the running plant is carried out.Rather, the real-time fault accommodation is solely based on theonline measurements generated by the unknown plant.
