UWB Antenna 3D Characterization Using Matrix Pencil Method
Résumé
This paper presents an application of the Matrix Pencil (MP) method to modelize UWB exponential Tapered Slot Antenna (ETSA) radiation performances. The determination of the 3D Impulse Response of Antenna (IRA) is performed starting from measured data. Using the Matrix Pencil method, we establish a compact model of the antenna. A new criterion is introduced to determine the minimal number of characteristic poles, this poles are determined in a particular direction and applied to 3D gain reconstruction. This model can give a complete representation of the antenna radiation characteristics.
