The principle of the WIT is to apply a pole extraction method on several windows of the response and then to observe the stability of the extracted poles. In order to compare the WIT to the classical window moving technique (WMT), we apply these two techniques on the electric far field backscattered by a dipole antenna. We show that, in presence of noise, the WIT allows finding more physical poles with a good accuracy than the WMT. %G English %2 https://hal-univ-rennes1.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01080788/document %2 https://hal-univ-rennes1.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01080788/file/The%20window%20increasing%20technique_accepted.pdf %L hal-01080788 %U https://hal-univ-rennes1.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01080788 %~ UNIV-NANTES %~ UNIV-RENNES1 %~ CNRS %~ INSA-RENNES %~ IETR %~ IETR_SRC %~ STATS-UR1 %~ UR1-HAL %~ UR1-MATH-STIC %~ UR1-UFR-ISTIC %~ IETR-CUTE %~ IETR-ADH %~ TEST-UNIV-RENNES %~ TEST-UR-CSS %~ UNIV-RENNES %~ INSA-GROUPE %~ UR1-MATH-NUM %~ IETR-STAR %~ NANTES-UNIVERSITE %~ UNIV-NANTES-AV2022
