Multi-band Multi-Antenna System with New Approach of PIFA Bandwidth Enhancement
Résumé
In this paper, an efficient dual multi-band planar inverted F Antenna system suitable for wireless communication devices is presented. This system is based on a new approach to enhance the bandwidth of the PIFA by using slots on their main plate in a specific configuration. A slots inserted on the substrate printed circuit board of the system allows a better control on the performance of the system and isolate the ports of the multi-antenna system. The multi-antenna system covers a very wide frequency bands and therefore can operate in different communication standards: GSM1800 (1.71-1.88GHz), UMTS (1.92-2.17GHz), DVB-SH (2.17-2.22GHz), WCS band (2.32.36GHz), WiMAX (2.7-2.9GHz), HyperLAN1 (5.15-5.35GHz) and HyperLAN2 (5.47-5.825GHz).
