Book of Abstract of Symposium OGOA : "Ondes de Gravité dans l'Océan et l'Atmosphère", 23-24 mai 2013
Résumé
The objective of the OGOA project is to bring together the French research community working in the field of gravity waves in the atmosphere and the ocean, using observations, laboratory experiments, numerical simulations and analytical calculations. The subjects studied include the generation of gravity waves (tidal, spontaneous, topographic, by instability, by air-sea interaction, by convection and other sub-meso-scale processes), their turbulent dynamics (cascades: direct, inverse, local and non-local), their interaction with the vortical circulation, their separation from the vortical circulation, and their parameterization. The aim of the project is to identify possible future collaborations and project submissions (LEFE, ANR, H202) in the field of gravity waves.
