Effect of temperature on magnetic hysteresis: Modeling by the Jiles-Atherton model
Résumé
Both domestic and professional electromagnetic devices continue to proliferate as a result of the increasing use of electricity and electronics. The magnetic core of these systems is a key for achieving energy conversion efficiency which requires a deep knowledge of the magnetic materials behavior, especially when strong constraints are imposed like high temperature and/or high frequency. If the activity related on the modeling of electric and magnetic phenomena taking into account the behavior of magnetic materials was reflected by the development of many models, it is not the case for the consideration of the thermal aspects. In the proposed study, the temperature dependent extension of the Jiles-Atherton model is presented. The parameters evolution of this model as a function of temperature is discussed.
