Experimental validation of a transparent waveband-based optical backbone network

Résumé

We experimentally validated the concept of transparent (without regeneration) waveband-based optical backbone networks through a 32×10Gbit/s transmission over 3600km of TeraLight™ fiber including sub -equipped optical cross-connects and taking into account networks constraints on dispersion map and power equalisation.
