Kineticstudies at roomtemperature of the cyanideanionCN− with cyanoacetylene (HC3N) reaction

Résumé

Rate coefficient of the cyanideanion (CN−) with cyanoacetylene (HC3N) reaction, has been studied in gas phase at roomtemperature using a Flowing Afterglow Langmuir Probe - Mass Spectrometer (FALP-MS) apparatus. The rate constant for the CN− + HC3N reaction is k = 4.8 × 10−9 cm3/s with an uncertainty of 30%.
