Résumé

In today's dynamic market environments, a manufacturing company has to quickly adjust its production system to new requirements. To take the right decision to respond to new requirements, companies need to analyze different aspects from different points of view. However considering all possible solutions and coordinating between different experts is not an easy task and it can be time consuming and challenging. This requires support in terms of capturing, storing, manipulating, and representing multiple forms of data simultaneously. In this paper we propose a well organized collaborative process for decision about change to respond to new requirements in a factory. This process is supported by sualization and interaction technology to capture, store, anipulate and represent data for different experts. This proposed support is illustrated using an example to show how the requirements of a production capacity enhancement problem can be met in a factory through collaboration. The illustration hows that the characteristics of proposed support fulfill the requirements for collaboration between different experts. This support needs to be developed and evaluated in the industry for its effectiveness.
