Measuring levels, assessing determinants and variabilities of nanoparticles concentrations in residential environment, The NANOP Project

Abstract

The NANOP project aims at assessing nanoparticle levels and their spatial and temporal variation in domestic environment simulated within an experimental house (MARIA) based at the Building Technical and Scientific Center (CSTB), i.e. a fully controlled domestic environment (as regards air exchange, heating...). Possible relations between different metrics such as particle number, mass, specific surface, size distribution should be identified. Respective contributions of indoor sources to exposure, but also from outdoor air will be determined.
