Résumé

In this paper, we present an original method using a SATIMO SG24 system to generate an isotropic multi-path propagation channel with Rayleigh fading. This method can be used to evaluate the performances of diversity systems within a controlled environment, thus representing an alternative to a more classical reverberation chamber which is considered as a perfect Rayleigh isotropic environment. In order to validate our method, diversity systems have been measured using both principles, and the results have been compared.
