Small Angle Neutron Scattering (SANS) Study of Soot Particles in an Ethylene-Air Diffusion Flame

Résumé

Neutron scattering techniques have been applied to the study soot particles in an ethylene diffusion flame. Primary particle sizes have been determined as a function of height-above-the-burner. The practicality of the method has been demonstrated.
