Corpus et modélisation : l'exemple darwinien
Résumé
This paper puts forward a model aiming at clarifying why some principles and methods have been labelled as "darwinian". Starting from an analysis of the Darwin case, it also aims at bringing back the idea of "author" into favour - and perhaps also the notion of "author's work" - thanks to the introduction of a criterion of objectivity founded on a classical hermeneutic standpoint: the test of time and the degree of cultural integration. Through an analysis of the objects "Darwin" and "Darwinism" in their historical and epistemological context, this article articulates a basis for an assessment of Darwin's impact in science and in history.
