Rider Steer Torque Estimation for Motorcycle Riding Simulator

Résumé

In this paper, we propose an estimation process for rider's torque during drive operation on simulator. The idea is basic and, in one hand, uses a DC motor as torque sensors and, on the other hand, as generator of force feedback due to tire-ground contact. The experimental implementation and analysis have revealed the effectiveness of the proposed approach
