Modeling the global warming effect on indoor temperature peaks and cooling systems consumption
Résumé
In this study, the building interaction with urban microclimate is studied in the global warming context. This study is a part of the research project MEIGEVILLE driven by IRSTV (Research Institute on Cities) in which our laboratories are partners. At the very first stage of this project, climatic data were processed in order to obtain the input data at a city scale. Our study focuses then on the urban microclimate study, for predicts overheating periods within the studied location, in two French cities. This part involves a G.I.S. method to convert geographical maps into digital database. A complete analysis will be madeis planned to clarify different district areas within those cities. This investigation takes into account the buildings architecture by the calculation of different morphological parameters. The last part of this study concentrates on the building dynamical behaviour in this specific urban context. The building energy consumption and indoor air temperature peaks are assessed through a dynamic building simulation for the previously identified scorching heat periods. The coupling of thisis work on building simulation is with tightly linked to the urban microclimate simulation is outlined here.
