Catégorisation d'objets et d'expressions émotionnelles chez l'enfant autiste et l'enfant trisomique : apport de l'étude des protocoles individuels
Résumé
This research examined categorical strategies of autistic children (mental age = 3;2 years) and children with down syndrom (mental age = 3;5 years) with physical objects and emotional expressions. In a forced-choice situation, children were asked to choose between a taxonomic, a thematic and a non-relied option. The analysis of the individual protocols allows to observe a profile of answer common to both populations and a specific one for the child with down syndrom. These two profiles are characterized by a variability of the answers according to the categories and items and by the fact that they specify the behavior of the typical children of 3; 6 years (Rovira et al, 2005).
