Return on experience of a joint master programme on Enterprise Software and Production Systems

This paper presents the results of the joint master programme between the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in China and the University Bordeaux 1 (UB1) in France. This programme was created in 2006. Its main objectives are to offer to students a double competency in enterprise modelling and in software engineering to help them better apprehend the domain of Enterprise and software application interoperability. After a brief introduction of the education programme, the paper addresses the results of the scholarship of the two first classes of students. A personal overview and a global appreciation are given by students regarding the content of the master programme as well as the difficulties met to apprehend each master year and the benefits expected at the end of the programme. Finally for the students who have validated all the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) at the end of the second year of the master a professional perspective is presented to discuss advantages offered by the diploma.
