On the electric fields contributions to ferroelectric thin films switching properties
Résumé
We have studied the polarization switching in ferroelectric thin films by using a time dependent Ginzburg Landau model. On the contrary to what is described for the case of intrinsic switching which is homogeneous, we have found that by considering the surface effect, this process becomes inhomogeneous. Moreover additional fields contributions induced by the bound charges and the space charges, change the kinetic and, can depending on their origin, modify or not the nature of the switching process
