How to measure interoperability: Concept and Approach

Résumé

This paper aims at presenting the basic concepts and approaches on enterprise interoperability measurements. Methods to evaluate enterprise performances will be at first presented and reviewed. Then the paper focuses on the interoperability measurement. Three basic enterprise interoperability measures are discussed, namely, interoperability potential, interoperability incompatibility, and interoperability performance. At the end the use of graph theory to evaluate industrial organisational interoperability will be presented. Future works are given as part of conclusion.
