Identification of the shoulder joint centre and of the body segment parameters

Résumé

This paper presents two methods for the modelisation of the human body. The first one is a functional method for locating the joint centre and was applied for locating the shoulder joint centre. The second one is an identification method which was used for the determination of the inertia matrix of the upper limb. These methods have the advantage to require only classical biomechanical devices (motion analysis system and force plate).
