Using Factor Analyses to explore data generated by the National Grapevine Wood Diseases Survey
Résumé
Since 2001 and the banning of the use of sodium arsenite in every sector of agriculture, in France then in Europe, there is no longer any authorized mean of curing the grapevine trunk diseases, namely the eutypa dieback, the esca decline and the black dead arm. Accessing for the stability of the incidence rates of these diseases and the association patterns between cultivars and diseases is therefore the main goal of the National Grapevine Wood Diseases Survey. At last, enough data were collected to perform multitable analyses on this dataset, such as the ACT-Statis, partial triadic or multiple coinertia analyses.
