CFD approach of supercritical carbon dioxide flow in a vertical tube: Comparison of upward and downward flows

Résumé

This paper presents the results of a numerical approach of a vertical CO2 supercritical fluid flow. Results have been compared with the experimental data, on velocity and shear stress profiles at a supercritical pressure in a heated 22.7 mm diameter vertical tube.
