Higher-order soliton-effect pulse compression in a non-linear holey fibre. Application to second-order dispersion measurement

Résumé

We report 570-fs pulse generation based on soliton-effect compression in a 22 m-long non-linear holey fibre. Using soliton-effect compression, we propose a simple method to measure second-order dispersion of fibres in the anomalous dispersion regime.
